last night, jesse, me, jj, my brother in law albert, and my niece sienna went to see walking with dinosaurs at the honda center. it was awesome. it felt like you were watching the discovery channel. they look sooo real and they are built life size. they have a man narrating the show on the floor so you can compare the sizes of a human to the dinosaurs. it was so neat. jj was really scared before the show began. he could hear the noise of dinosaurs roaring and thought they were real dinos behind the screen ready to just be let out for us to see. we kept telling him they are just robots, but until he saw them, i dont think he believed us. the entire show wasnt very long. it lasted 45 min. then a 25 min. intermission then another 30 min. they went through history with the different periods until they were extinct. i highly recommend seeing the show. they are at the honda center and at staples center within this week and next week. go see it if you are able to. here are some pictures. i tried getting jj with the dinosaurs in back, but my camera would only pick up him or them, not both. his favorites were stegosaurus and triceratops. each time they would come out, he would scream their name as loud as he could "oh, pteradactyl!!!!" when you ask him about it, he just rambles on and on listing all the names and what they did. he had a blast!!
stegosaurus
allosaurus
brachiosaurus
mama and baby brachiosaurus
jj and sienna eating popcorn
two male triceratops fighting (jj's favorite)
acting like a dinosaur
the mighty tyrranosaurus rex
the mama t-rex protecting her baby in the upper left corner from the triceratops and ankylosaurus (this one made you feel like you were back in time watching it live)
