christmas morning

santa came!!! jesse and i were able to sleep until 7:30am. which is actually pretty late. i came down stairs first to get the camcorder and record them coming down the stairs and seeing what santa left. it was so cool. santa brought ellie a butterfly play tent, a princess bike with helmet, a princess jacket. she also got cool little things in her stocking. santa brought jj an elephant webkinz, new baseball glove with a bucket of teeballs, gumball machine, slinky, kung fu panda dvd, night at the museum dvd, and a stocking full of cool things. the kids played all morning until my parents came over. everybody ate breakfast and opened more gifts. jj got more clothes, games, money and dvds. ellie got more princess paraphenalia. they were both very excited. jesse got the original frost/nixon interview on dvd. he was really excited. the whole family has stayed in our jammies all day today. it is has been raining all day so we cant go outside and try out some of the new stuff. jesse, my dad, and jj played battleship. jj is using his leftover birthday money and christmas money to buy a new bike. he is very excited. also, we figured out that santa only likes chocolate chips cookies, not gingerbread. he also took the carrots for the reindeer. he didnt finish his milk, maybe he was in too much of a hurry. we hope everyone had a great day today. also to remember the true meaning of christmas.
