fun weekend

on friday, my mom (gaga donna), picked the kids up and took them on a surprise. they didnt know where until she came and got them. she took them to DISNEYLAND!! they had a blast. i dont think they even went on any rides. they just shopped and walked around. it was a nice break. jesse and i went to dinner and had sushi. the kids came home late and went straight to bed. thanks gaga!!

the next day was our nephew, vincent's, birthday. he turned 1. his birthday is actually today, but his party was saturday. he had so much fun, for a one year old that is. jj and ellie were the only kids there. they were the only kids who played pin the tail on the donkey and did the pinata. he had a dinosaur party and had lots of family there. he got lots of books, clothes and toys. what a lucky boy. here are some pics of the day.

funny story: we were leaving church and the kids wanted to go to mcdonalds for breakfast. jesse and i were still deciding whether to go or not. jj started whining because he reeeeeeeeaaaaally wanted to go. ellie turned to him and said, "if you want to go to mcdonalds then you better STOP CRYING!". i wonder where she heard that before...
