go dodgers!!!!

it was an all boy night and an all girl night. since jesse took jj to his first dodger game, i had an all girl night with ellie.

-------i am writing this the night before i post from my perspective on things---------

we had dinner and then i made smores...over the stove. you have to have roasted marshmallows. not microwaved. the best roasted marshmallows are when they catch on fire for awhile and then you blow the flame out. you are left with brown, crunchy goodness on the outside and gooey goodness on the inside. so good!!!! i made ellie take her clothes off to eat dinner because she already got cherry and strawberry juice on them and i didnt want to ruin them more. just in case you were wondering why she has no clothes on in the picture.

after dessert, we snuggled on the couch and watched a very old care bear movie. im talking circa 1985. we also watched ni hao, kai lan and yo gabba gabba. it was nice to snuggle with her without any interruptions.

after all the shows we were watching, i thought to turn on the dodger game on tv to see if by chance i might see the boys. you would not believe that 5 minutes into me watching it, the rockies hit a homerun right in front of where they were sitting!!! i saw jesse and logan and i couldnt see the boys. i recorded it so i was able to rewind it and then pause it. all you could see of jj was his hat. you saw the very top of jack's head, but jesse and logan were right smack in the middle of the tv. craziness!!!

the dodgers eventually lost, but the boys had a blast. they kept calling throughout the game. they even stayed for fireworks after. they said they were amazing.

--------------this is written today, after the game, from the boys' perspective----------------

My first Post! I didn't think this day would happen! Well, because we have the most amazing wives, Logan and I got to go to the Dodgers game last night with JJ and Jack. We met at Topps, a great place to eat, and then headed to Dodgers Stadium. We didn't think we would see batting practice but the Rockies were in the middle of it when we got there. Because we had two kids with us, I got the attention of a Rockies pitcher and pointed to our kids as if THEY were the ones that wanted a baseball! He fell for it and threw a baseball at us. JJ's first REAL baseball from Dodgers Stadium on his 1st trip! We never thought the two boys would last through an entire game but like everything else this night, the game flew by and before we knew it, we were singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame!" After the game, we went ONTO the field and watched fireworks, which seemed to be above our heads. The night could not of gone any better. Logan and I are blessed to have great kids and amazing wives who make nights like this happen. JJ and Jack had a great time, while I got to hang out with my best friend too! Great day and thanks Susan and Bec for making this a great Father's Day gift!

What a gay thing to write. (Hmmm, sounds like someone is getting a little side of PAY BACK.)

Loved the time hang out and our continued efforts to brainwash our sons into the Dodger way of life.

Look forward to future games together (awwwww).

Susan, you could have at least highlighted Jesse's first post by having his post first. I had to scroll down until I found the REAL post material.

Awesome guys, I really wish I was there. That is if by there was with you guys and two different teams on the field, one of them being the Mariners!

Look, isn't there enough pollution of children's brains nowadays with tv, internet, video games? I mean, do you really have to include the Dodgers into that? What's next, THE RAIDERS?

Ok, I'm being mean because I'm real jealous. That looks like a blast. Way to be original with the haircut Logan...narea...

You guys actually look great and I even see a picture of Jesse smiling!

AND A POST? WHAT? Well done Jesse. Like Logan said though, it sure took a while to get to your first "post", there were female words and words like gooey goodness before it. If you're going to take charge of a post Jesse, TAKE CHARGE OF A POST! I don't even let my wife near my computer, let alone my blog. She'll scare all the honey's away. You KNOW how I roll... Wait quiet, I think she's coming.

Hey honey, no I'm not doing anyth...no I'd never say that...they made me...no baby, I...Aww stop hitting me...NOT THE FRYING PAN...hgdjhsgjkhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
