holiday lights in bakersfield

sunday through tuesday of this past week, we spent in bakersfield. we were visiting with our friends, the streets. we had a blast, as usual.

we took the kids along too, to play with jackson and brooklyn. they were so happy to see each other. jj is already asking when we can go back and see them again.

while we were there, we caught up with old friends, ate delicious food, and drank some good ole’ starbucks coffee.

one day, jesse and logan went golfing, and the girls took the kiddos to the park. it was nice letting them get all their energy out. we came back to their house after, to eat dinner. chicken rice bake=yummy.

after we all ate, we took a little trek out to the CALM zoo. at night, they have holiday lights covering the grounds of the zoo. they even have a train ride and carousel.

we got to see everything they had to offer, and left just in time as the rain began to fall.

the holiday lights were amazing. they were beautiful. here are some pictures of our bakersfield visit.
