this month is filled with a ridiculous amount of birthdays in our family. every weekend is filled with stuff to do and parties to attend. my nephew's party was this past weekend, and so was my niece's. my mother in law's too. not to mention that ellie's birthday is tomorrow. i made the cake for my nephew's party and took pictures for my niece's slumber party. earlier today, all the women in our family had a girls' day for ellie's birthday party. i took her to american girl store and cafe in los angeles. i had never been there before and it was amazing. ellie was giggling the whole time and couldn't pick which doll was going to be her birthday gift. she finally chose kanani, the girl of the year. she looks like her too, except she has super long hair. we even got kanani's ears pierced. at one point, ellie says to me, "mama, i want a doggie for kanani". i say, "no, not today. she doesn't need a doggie." ellie responds with, "but, kanani really wants a doggie." i guess kanani now has a mind of her own and can tell ellie what she wants and what she doesn't want. we had reservations at the cafe for lunch and had the balcony area all to ourselves. i had a great time and ellie had the time of her life. it was amazing having all her aunts and grandmas there. she is a very blessed girl. i will forever remember the time we had today and i hope she will too.

Ellie's birthday sounds so fun. It makes me so excited to be having a little girl.
