rocky, the hamster

jj is the student of the week this week. the biggest perk is being able to take rocky, the class pet hamster, home for the weekend. so, this past weekend was our weekend.

jj was over the moon excited to bring rocky home with us. after learning about the tips of caring for rocky, we headed home. of course everyone wanted to hold her immediately. she really loves her ball. the biggest downside to have rocky, was that she is nocturnal. so when everyone is sleeping and the house is quiet, she is running like crazy in her wheel. charlie even got to smell her while she was inside her ball. by sunday, she was just another member of the family.

jj was so happy to have been able to bring her home and of course, wants his own pet now. umm. maybe in a few years...
