today is jj's birthday. he is 5 years old. i cant believe my baby boy is 5. it seems like yesterday that he was born. today we have a day of fun planned. we are going to red robin for dinner so the waitresses can sing to him and he can blow out a candle. next we are going to toys r us to spend a gift card he got. i also took some chocolate chip cookie cakes to school for a mini party there. he picked both of them out. a pumpkin and ghost. hopefully the kids wont be too filled with sugar. tomorrow he and ellie are going to a halloween party at his friend's house. i will take lots of pictures to post later.
also tomorrow is the one year anniversary of when ellie got her hand stuck in the treadmill. she had third degree burns and almost needed a skin graft. she went through weeks of physical therapy to regain extension of her fingers. her scars used to be much worse than they are now. by the time she is older, they probably wont be that noticeable. here are some pictures of her hand a year ago and now, to see how much of an improvement it has made.
