i was a little OCD while at the tattoo shop, but the guy was really patient and nice. he said what we wanted would take longer to set up than to actually do it. mom went first. she already has a tattoo on her foot so she knew what it would feel like, i did not. i was very nervous. my heart was pounding away waiting for the stencil to dry. he said sometimes when you get a tattoo on your foot, it twitches. so that freaked me out. i held my leg while he went to work. it feels like he is burning your flesh and ripping it open. it hurt, i wont lie, but compared to childbirth. piece of cake. when he was done i knew i was going to love it. i wore tennis shoes today so i didnt get to admire it, but since i have gotten home, i cant take my eyes off of it. here are the pictures.
i got three stars to represent my family (husband and two kiddos) with green coloring (fav. color). mom got same thing for same meaning but the colors were two blue (boys) and one pink (girl). happy birthday mom. love you.

What a fun birthday gift for your mom. You two are so brave! But I'm sure your right..anything compared to childbirth is a piece of cake.
