this past saturday, jj had his first "performance" as a kindergartener. since this is the school's first year, they had a dedication ceremony. they invited all kindergarten classes and a few more older grades to participate. they were all patriotic songs. jj's song was "hats off to america". he had been practicing at home the whole week, but couldnt remember the last bit of the song. i told him you need to know the whole song for the concert, and his response was, "no mama, i dont need to know it because i can just look at the other kids. they know it. i stand next to mason and he really knows all the words." wonderful!
the class did well and they got their picture in the paper too. here are some pictures.
