chuck e cheese

this past weekend we had a little pirate birthday party for jj at chuck e cheeses. we had family and some friends from school. it seemed that everyone had a good time. the place was sooo crowded and thus it took forever to get our party going. we ran out of time, and ended up opening gifts at home. at the end of the time allowance, we had barely cut the cake. he received a lot of great gifts. his favorite was money. since he already has sooo many toys, we decided to donate some of his presents to the ronald mcdonald house in loma linda. i told him about the sick kids that stay there and how great it would be if he could share his toys with them. he seemed ok with the idea. we go on friday to donate them.

i am so glad birthday time is done. it is soo exhausting. just when its done, christmas is right around the corner. here are some pictures of the day. oh i forgot. i made his cake this year. i was very proud of it. it turned out well. that in itself exhausted me, just trying to make it perfect.

oh and for those i had emailed for prayers for my friend carri and her ivf treatment. i have great news. she just found out yesterday that she is pregnant!!! she goes in two weeks to have an ultrasound. she is sooo excited and very grateful for all the prayers. thanks
