pedicures and bronchitis

last week, ellie and i went and got our nails done. i had a pedicure and she just had her toenails and fingernails painted. she got to pick out her own color. she even sat with me and was able to stick her toes in the warm water. she was so happy! i was too. i havent had a pedicure in a couple of years. it was really nice. we had a girls night out.

i thought i had the flu last week, but actually felt much better a couple days later. after sunday, i felt horrible and had a bad cough. by wednesday, i went to the doctor at the extended care facility. he said i have bronchitis. i feel like i am coughing up a lung sometimes, but it seems like the medicine is working. ellie will look at me during the day and say, "you feel better, mama?" "me take care of you".

jj is just getting started on his science project for the science fair in february. we have some ideas off the internet, but if anyone has any other good ideas, please let me know. we want something really simple, since he will be writing and journaling all by himself.
