i decided to do this post today since tomorrow (ellie's actual birthday) is going to be crazy filled with stuff. today is my niece, sienna's birthday. she is 9. can you believe it! she is having a fun, girls only slumber party tonight at her house. yesterday was my mother in law's birthday. i will NOT post how old she is but she looks fantastic! we will celebrate her birthday next week when it is a little less stressed.
anyway back to ellie. tomorrow is our baby girl's 3rd birthday. i cant believe how fast time has flown. she is our spitfire, lovey, sissy girl, and deeta (just a silly name i call her). when i was still pregnant with her i thought she would come early, since thats what jj did. i was ready! i was ready at 37 weeks. needless to say, she came at 41 weeks! i was in the hospital to be induced and then my water broke just before i was to get the pill. yeah!! she was on her way. it only took 10 minutes before all my joy was overtaken my enormous amounts of pain and anguish. 3 hours later, eliana marie came into this world. my first glance at her, i noticed she has my mom's and my nose. she was and is beautiful!
throughout her 3 years she has had MANY hospital and ambulance trips. she has hopefully outgrown that stage of her life. today she is a vivacious princess! she is gorgeous. her eyes have changed from blue to a greenish blue (like mine) and she has long hair that curls at the ends. she has not had her first haircut, but last week i had to cut a teeny weeny bit off the end of a piece of hair. she apparently fell asleep with gum in her mouth that wound up on her pillowcase and caused her to be glued to her pillow. i dont officially count that as her first haircut. ellie takes ballet classes on fridays, which she loves but doesnt listen all too well. she loves baby dolls, dresses, pink, purple, sleeping beauty, her brother and cousins, and doing EVERYTHING by herself. she is very independent and well how should i put it...speaks her mind (very loudly)! she is a great cuddler and loves compliments. jesse and i are extremely proud to be her parents and love her to pieces. happy birthday baby girl!!

Happy Early Birthday Ellie! I can't believe she is three! It was just yesterday when I was holding JJ as a newborn. You guys should be proud because she absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to meet her someday soon! Enjoy all the festivities!
