i know the title should read dodger baseball, but since jj's tball team is the astros, i thought it would be fitting. the start of our BUSY weekend was saturday morning with opening day for yucaipa valley national and american little leagues. it was awesome to see. i know that jesse was dying to be there, but he had his last day of his academy class and his fantasy baseball draft. it was really hard to keep the boys clean before their pictures and it was soooo hot out there. his first real game is on friday afternoon. he has a lot of friends on different teams and his own team. it will be nice to see him play against his friends and develop a friendly rivalry and good sportmanship. here are some pictures of the day.

during jj and mama baseball time this morning, ellie was spending her birthday morning with gaga donna. she took her to breakfast and they went shopping and had an awesome girl's day. we all met up for lunch at red robin where they sang happy birthday to ellie. gaga went home to take guncle (my brother trevor) to his all star basketball game and we went back to our house for naps before ellie's big birthday party celebration. trevor did really well at his game. we missed them at her party.
