and another one bites the dust

i think my children are SUPER accident prone. yesterday jj decided to hang on the back of our bench at our kitchen table. well... gravity kicked in and he started to fall backward. he didnt put his feet down in time and he fell and the bench fell and hit the wall behind him. unfortunately, he didnt let go of the bench and he smashed his right thumb against the wall. he screamed and cried. it immediately swelled and started to bruise a little. he was able to move it, but not to put any pressure on it. well here we go again. 

we make it to the urgent care to get xrays and they moved much faster this time. that was great. they took three pics and they were all negative. the pa (physicians assistant) gave him a splint to wear to protect it from getting further injured. she also told us that if his pain doesnt go away in a week, he will need to get it re-xrayed. please pray for my accident prone children and that they dont cause more injuries to themselves. :)
