catcher, egg hunting, and sushi

jj had a tball game last week and he did very well. he was able to be a catcher for one of the innings. he loved putting on the whole gear. he thought it was fun. he did have a little meltdown when one of his teammates took "his" ball. he was almost in tears. it was very cold and a little rainy. he had a blast. his game today was rained out. his next game is on monday.

this morning was the annual easter egg hunt through yucaipa community center. they have a huge field filled with plastic eggs filled with candy, toys and tickets (redeemable for bigger prizes). they were divided by age group. jesse took jj and i took ellie. the pics i have are only of ellie hunting for eggs. it was cold today but it didnt hamper the mood. all the kids had a great time. they even saw the easter bunny!

after the egg hunt, we met my parents for lunch at niko niko sushi. we all love sushi. even the kids. jj's favorite are the edemame beans. the kids didnt want to use a fork, they had to use the chopsticks. ellie started eating off my mom's food and i had to get it on film. it was too funny. jj did really well with his chopsticks. we discovered he loves ginger and raw tuna. we then had to go have cold stones for dessert. the kids loved their easter baskets. i told them to leave their easter baskets out tonight for the easter bunny. who knows where he might fill them up. he moves very fast!!! we hope everyone has a great easter sunday and remembers the real reason for the season.
