prayers needed

stellan has been released from the hospital and is doing ok. he definitely still needs to be watched closely. keep him and his family in your prayers

in case anyone hasnt checked out mckmama's blog, they should. just click on the "praying for stellan" button on the right side column of my blog. stellan has been admitted to the hospital for having excessive amounts of SVT. its basically when your heart beats too fast. he was diagnosed while still in utero. he had a surgery a couple months ago that should hopefully hold off a future surgery and pacemaker implantation until he is 4 yrs old. he is only about 7 months old now. so he has a long time to wait and get bigger. they are hoping to adjust his meds to keep him away from boston (where he will have his surgery) as long as possible.

please pray that the Lord heals his little heart, and even if that's not His plan, then also pray for strength for the family. they are doing as well as could be expected, but stellan is the youngest of 4 children in their family. they are an incredibly faithful family. they know that whether stellan lives on earth or in heaven, they know that God is in control and they are putting all their strength in Him. please pray for stellan.

next thing that needs prayer is for sweet baby zane. you can check out www.sweetbabyzane.com to catch up on the entire story. zane is the niece of our friends, the youskievicz's. she is a twin. she had SMA (spinal muscular atrophy). it causes extreme weakness in your muscles and loss of nerves in the spinal cord. it makes normal functions like breathing, swallowing, and eating very difficult.

in case you missed it earlier...i said that she had SMA. baby zane died yesterday. she was only five months old. please check out their website and pray for their entire family. that is all for now.
