bucket list items

the topic for this week are things on your bucket list. as i was coming up with the list, i realized that some of things on this list will probably NEVER get done, but at least they are something great to aspire to. enjoy.

TOP TEN THINGS ON OUR BUCKET LIST:

1. i want to learn to play the guitar. i have always wanted to learn, but i just havent taken the proper steps to actually do it. first i need to buy a guitar. it does seem very easy to learn, but i know it probably isnt. maybe some day...

2. i want to backpack through europe. jesse would never agree to go with me, so maybe i will go with ellie when she is older. like a graduation gift or something. i dont know what i will do if she has no interest in going. it will make me very sad. :(

3. i want to go to italy! i know this kind of falls onto #2, but if i had to pick only one european country to visit, it would be italy. something about the architecture, the sites, the history, the food, the accents. ahhhhhhhhh.

4. i want our family to have enough money so that i can cook all the time. most recipes require fresh food and expensive items too. i would love to go to the grocery store and fruit stand almost daily and cook great healthy food. i would also want to bake something every day. we would all probably weigh around 500 pounds, but it is my dream.

5. i want a kitchen like paula deen's. i want a gourmet kitchen with every type of cookware and bakeware imaginable. i want a huge butcher block. a 6 burner stove top with a built in griddle. i want a double oven.

6. jesse wants to see a baseball game in every MLB stadium. he still has a long way to go, but i think this one might actually happen. :)

7. jesse wants to go on an african safari. i know he would not enjoy the travelling aspect of it, but seeing the wild animals would be amazing. he is very intrigued with lions and could you imagine seeing one from a safari van out in the african savannah!!! so cool!!!

8. jesse wants to be the GM for the dodgers. this would be a dream come true for him. this one...not very likely it will happen, but at least he can dream.

9. jesse wants a soft serve ice cream machine in his house. you know, the kind at mcdonalds. it would have chocolate and vanilla. his favorite flavor is swirl. oh that sounds so yummy.

10. jesse wants to be the #2 guy to the president. he wants to be included in all the meetings, but not be required to make the major decisions. he wants to be able to give his input on all the important matters. he wants to be the white house chief of staff. he basically wants rahm emanuel's job. yeah, this one is not happening either.
