carousel

today, we went to visit my brother and his girlfriend at college. they are attending vanguard university in costa mesa. we were meeting my parents there also. we went for lunch at the irvine spectrum. we had, of course, sushi. our favorite. jj had five pieces of a rainbow roll. way braver than i am. we talked and laughed and shared some stories. it was really fun. we walked around and were amazed that all the stores there allowed dogs that were on leashes inside their stores! it was weird to see. they had a huge ferris wheel and carousel there. ellie was focused on the carousel the second she saw it. after we ate, jesse and my brother took turns riding it with her. as you already know, jj is on restriction. so... no carousel for him. he was bummed. i still wanted to take pictures of him though, because he was sitting near a gorgeous fountain. the lighting was perfect. his attitude, not so much. you will see in the very last picture. we left with our bellies full and some great pictures. some great family time.
