since it is thursday, it is top ten time. today's topic is top ten posts from other blogs, but i chose to do something different today. i don't know why, but i just felt like it. while i am typing this the kids are watching one of their favorite kids' show on tv. then it hit me. i will list my children's fav. tv shows or movies, half for ellie and half for jj. here we go...
TOP TEN TELEVISION SHOWS OR MOVIES MY CHILDREN LOVE:
1.ELLIE: Dora the Explorer-what little girl doesnt love dora? she has been around for quite some time now. an older version of her is actually coming out soon. "dora, dora, dora...the explorer!"
2.JJ: The Most Extreme-jj is obsessed with the animal planet channel. in fact he will watch anything that comes on that station. his favorite is most extreme. its kind of like our top ten fun. it counts down the animals of a specific topic for the day (ex. hunters, predators, etc).
3.ELLIE: Ni Hao, Kai Lan-it is fairly new to the nickelodeon, but who would've thought that learning chinese would be so much fun. ellie's favorite part is when she wakes up the sun by tickling him. foreign language fact for the day, Ye Ye means grandfather in chinese!
4.JJ: SpongeBobSquarePants-this is a pretty funny show. sometimes this show actually makes me giggle a little bit. you know the song, "who lives in a pineapple under the sea?..."
5.ELLIE: The Fresh Beat Band-this show just came on about a couple of weeks ago. she LOVES to dance with them. she has even memorized some of their choreography. too cute.
6. JJ: Planet Earth-any type of movie that has to do with animals is a keeper.
7.ELLIE: Olivia-is based after the book series by Ian Falconer. when we go to do the library, she really loves when we get olivia books.
8.JJ: Lilo and Stitch-he likes both the movie and the tv series. i think sometimes, stitch reminds me of jj. all that energy!!!
9.ELLIE: Barbie Rapunzel-this is ellie's favorite movie at the moment. sometimes it changes daily or weekly. you cant go wrong with a princess though. :)
10.JJ: Scooby Doo-this one is such a classic. there are new versions of the old series out, but the old school one is by far the best. boomerang channel shows all the classic 80's shows like the smurfs, the jetsons, the flinstones, yogi bear, top cat, the snorks, and jabberjaw.

oh, in exciting news...my sister in law is getting married in april of next year. guess where!? CABO SAN LUCAS!!! even the kids are going! we are definitely looking forward to going.

What a great idea to do it with the kids! PERFECT! why didn't I think of something cool like that?? Oh, and awesome on the wedding! You need a nanny then?
I think that Ellie and I have the same favorites!... Er, I mean Ellie and my son... LOL!
