last friday night, me, the kids, my mom, my brother and his girlfriend all made our way down to dland. we figured it would be crowded, but really had no idea what was in store.
we got there around 5:30p and was going to park where we normally do, but saw a sign telling us to park somewhere different. as we are driving in an insane amount of traffic, we all see a sign that says “disneyland park full, california adventure available”.
WHAT????!!!!!!
how can dland be full?
the signs directed us to park at the convention center. we walked across the street and then took a tram in. from the looks of it, it seemed crazy crowded, but once we got into ca. adv., it wasnt too bad. we spent the majority of our time there. we even got front row seats for the electrical parade. we even were able to see the fireworks at disneyland across the way. after the parade, we walked over to see the castle all lit up.
on our way over, both kids knocked out. i mean, KNOCKED OUT! i couldnt help but take pictures of them. at one point, jj was sleeping on my camera bag, and at another point, he was sleeping on top of ellie’s head.
the kids were pooped, but so glad they saw the parade, fireworks and even got to ride some rides.
we had a great time! see you in 2010 disneyland!
