not my child

jj had his christmas musical last thursday. his class sang two songs, “jingle bell rock” and “when christmas comes to town”. they all did really well.

 

i noticed that while singing the first song, jj was really shy. he wasnt really singing much. when the second song started, the entire auditorium (which by the way was extremely packed) started laughing because one of the kids in his class was dancing on stage. it was really cute.

 

all of a sudden, jj realized that his friend was getting all the attention. i knew exactly what he was thinking and about to do, and hoped that he would prove me wrong.

 

next thing i knew, i see my darling, sweet son dancing wildly on stage.  my attention seeking child would never do something like that. see if you can spot him in the picture below. ;)
