well, it is the 10th of the month and therefore, it is 10 on 10 time. this is where i take 10 pictures on the 10th of every month. these pictures will document what we did that day of the month.
when the day started, i didnt think that i would be able to come up with 10 pictures, but i was wrong. at the end of the day, i actually had more than 10 to choose from. so here they are:
every morning i make jj’s lunch for school. he gets one day a week to have hot lunch. he normally chooses friday because they serve pizza.
i just finished reading the 4th harry potter novel. this one was really long, but sooooo good. off to the library tomorrow to get the next one.
here is my nephew, diego. i babysit him every day. i took this while the kids ate their snacks.
i ran a lot of errands today. i picked up the dry cleaning, exchanged a pair of ellie’s shoes, went to the grocery store and the bank, and picked up some rental movies at blockbuster.
charlie is obsessed with the neighborhood cat. she escaped once from the front door and chased that cat up the wall across the street. they battled for awhile and charlie came home with a few small scratches. she always looks for her out the front slider. please excuse the dirty glass.
here, jj is walking up to meet us after school let out. i always park on the street above the school and he walks and meets us. this day i parked further up the hill and he wasnt happy that he had to walk more.
jj and i made his classroom valentines day box. i wrapped an old shoe box and he decorated it with stickers.
jesse is reading ellie a bedtime story. i love this picture because of both of their expressions.
after we put the kids to sleep i quickly made some cookie dough. i have it in the fridge overnight so i can make them tomorrow. it is a new recipe, coffee sugar cookies. the cookie dough was AMAZING! i cant wait to try them baked.
tonight, we caught up on american idol. we always catch up on our dvr after the kids go to bed. i think we both have picked our winners from the show.
there you go. a day in the life of our family. nothing too exciting, but i wouldnt trade it for anything. hope you all have a great rest of the week and a fabulous holiday weekend.
i am making some valentine day treats tomorrow. i cant wait to share them with you here. stay tuned.
