the day after we got back from arizona, my mom, the kids and i went to knotts. we got season passes this year to knotts instead of disneyland. they were WAY cheaper. the total cost of all four was the same as one pass at disneyland. :s
we got there right after they opened. the park was not crowded at all. the kids got to ride all the rides they wanted to ride in camp snoopy and we even rode some at the big side of the park. we got to ride the train and it was hilarious when ellie and jj realized the train was being "robbed" by "bandits". they wanted to jump out of their skin and hide. it was sheer terror on their faces. i don't know why this amuses me, but i think it was the funniest thing ever. i guess it was the fact that i knew it wasn't real and the fact that they started laughing and joking around with the robbers. jj even thought it would be a great idea to tell them that "my mom has the money!!" LOL
the ghost town part of knotts was pretty awesome. we missed the part where they have the blacksmith out making stuff. next time we go i think we will hit that part first.
