its raining, its pouring...

this past week has been very exhausting for everyone. i had my first week of watching vincent for four days instead of three, while still keeping diego for all five. i didnt have an errand running day so i had to do them all after 5pm. then dinner gets all messed up. its has been crazy. tuesday night was karate. jj had a tough week also. monday wouldve been his 20th day in a row without getting a timeout at school. jesse's mom promised him 10 dollars if he made it to 20. monday was exciting, except for when i picked him up from school. he comes out crying his eyes out. he got a timeout on the last day!!! he told us what he did to deserve it, which he did deserve, but we felt so bad for him. he did have a substitue teacher that day, so we decided to give him another chance the next day with his regular teacher. before school i told him, its a new day. well, i pick him up and yes he got ANOTHER timeout!! well we didnt feel sorry for him anymore. he blew it! that night was karate. he couldnt stop talking to his neighbor. so we left early. he was not a happy camper. tough lessons this week for him. self control was a major one.

ellie has had a huge attitude this week. at ballet on friday, she didnt really want to do what she was told. she is supposed to stand with her toes on the line while she waits for her turn to dance. instead she would lay down on the ground. all the girls are 2 or 3 years old. so they just do what each other is doing. needless to say, ellie was a bad influence on the girls.

jesse had his acsa academy class this past friday night and all day saturday. he was tired from long days and getting up early. this weekend was mostly spent relaxing and catching up on shows on our dvr. in fact we are watching the grammy's now while i am typing away.

funny story: ellie tells me that she poo-pooed in her 'zones. she says"you mad at me". i said if you did, yes i will be mad at you. she says, "actually, it was my butt's fault". as if her butt is its own person. crazy girl.

it has been raining for the last three days. i know the plants need the moisture, but our dog is getting cabin fever. when it rains, we are at her mercy. she barks if she's outside in the rain, she isnt allowed in the house alone, because she has accidents out of spite. hopefully we will get a break from the rain tomorrow.

friday morning, while i was getting ready. jesse had already left for work. jj and ellie were sleeping in our bed. i took a picture of them sleeping. it was so cute. i knew i had taken a picture of them sleeping in our bed when ellie was only 5 months old, and i wanted to compare the two. here they are:
