yesterday, our baby boy had his first tball practice. he is on the astros. we had gone the day before to buy all the necessary items for practice and games (pants, socks, belt, cleats, practice shirts, hat). he looked adorable. we really like his coach. he is sooo patient with the kids, but makes them tow the line. he makes them get on one knee when he talks to them and they have to look him in the eyes so he knows they are listening. they practiced catching and throwing the ball. they used tennis balls for now. just getting them to run in a straight line was difficult. they all looked mighty adorable doing it though. here are some pics.
right after practice, he had his school's science fair. he was the only kindergartener to do one. it was voluntary. i think it looked awesome! this weekend is the district science fair and he is entered. maybe he will do well, if not at least he tried. this science fair will have actual judges asking questions to each participant. awards and ribbons will be given out. i will post what happens after this weekend. here is jj by his science project.
