as i had said in the previous post, jj had his science fair on saturday. it was a very long day. they started the judging at 9am. parents were only allowed in for the judging for kindergarten and first grades. jj did really well. he knew all the questions that the judge had asked him. once he was done, he got a cookie and a water. we next had to wait until all the other grades were judged. that lasted 3 hours. they had a lot for the kids to do there. they had a water bottle rocket demonstration. that was awesome. they screwed a half water filled bottle into a pvc pipe that at the other end had an air compressor attached. as the pressure builds in the bottle the water shoots the bottle off into the air. they were flying sooo high. probably 100 feet in the air. the kids loved it.
once 12pm rolled around, we were all pooped. they started with the white ribbons and then the red ribbons. after a while, we realized that jj was going to get a blue ribbon. he was excited but didnt really understand what everything was all about. he was very happy and proud of his medal. he is going to take it to school tomorrow and show his teacher. she will be sooo proud of him. here are some pics:
