takin' a cruise in pop pop's "new" car

last weekend, me and the kids went to visit my parents. jesse had his last weekend of his academy classes for HR. thank goodness!!! while we were there, the kids played and watched movies. ellie wanted to watch enchanted while jj wanted cars. ellie won, but after we said we would put cars on. jj's response, "OH MY GOSH!!!" he says this with a little whine, like the world is ending immediately. my mom, seeing that jj is completely bored, goes and tells my dad to take jj for a ride in his classic car. he was so excited. they went around the neighborhood a couple of times. after the second time around, jj tells us, "that time pop pop went REALLY fast!". my mom asks, "how fast?". jj says, "it was at the 60!" here are some pictures of jj and the car. this thing is sooooo loud. just to start the engine, it echoes through the house even with the doors closed. it must be a guy thing!?
