it has been brought to my attention that i have been leaving out one member of our family. she is a big part of the family and the kids love her to pieces. she is our boxer, charlie. whenever we talk about having the whole family together, they always interrupt and say that "charlie isnt here". she is THE best dog ever.
we got her when she was 3 months old. she will be 4 yrs old in august. the very first day we got her (we were living at our old house which had a pool at the time) she looked at the pool and then fell in. jesse had to pluck her out.
we have had to redo many backyards because of her and her "doings", but even with all that, she is awesome!!!! she is so loyal and ALWAYS follows us around the house. jesse and i cant be in a different room than her. she must be right next to us. she is great with the kids. she pretty much lets them climb all over her. we dont let them do that to her, but i do catch them laying with her in her bed.
her favorite thing to do is to chase the cars and people that walk along the sidewalk behind our house. she barks at them and chases them as far as the yard takes her. some regular walkers even know her by her name. they even call out to her from across the street or walk up to our fence and pet her. our neighbors love her and on occassion when she escapes, they always bring her back to our yard.
about 2 years ago, she escaped and a subcontractor working in the area found her and took her home with him. we didnt know that at the time, and thought she was gone for good. 10 days after the escape, she returned to us. we all cried and we missed her sooo much. we love you charlie and are so glad that you are apart of our family.
she is probably about 4 or 5 months old here

Awww. What a sweetie. Well that's one MORE reason to go visit you guys. Let me just shake the money tree and we'll be right there to see Charlie and her wonderful family. Cool dog.

Our pets are like another child. They definitely are part of the family and a blessing! I love how soft boxer hair feels and I understand the being followed everywhere. My Ellie follows me everywhere, so much that it gets annoying sometimes. Can never blame them for not being loyal!
