pumpkin patch

this week has been very busy for us. i knew the next couple of weekends were going to be just as busy, so i had to schedule our trip to the pumpkin patch. on friday, i put the little kids down early for their naps so when i picked jj up from school, we could go straight there. they had been looking forward to it all day. our pumpkin patch had a corn maze, a petting zoo, a huge hay bale mountain to climb, and TONS of games for the kids...that cost $$$. of course. i bought a sheet of tickets and divided it up and let them make their choices. they definitely made age appropriate choices. just as we ran out of tickets, they all found more things to do. we would have to save it for another day. sorry kids.

dont feel bad for them, they got enough fun out of the 1 1/2 hours we spent there. i took a billion pictures of them. they were not pleased. to insult to injury, the sun was shining nice and bright. great lighting, but bad for the kids' eyes. remember last year? ya! didnt get good pictures that time. i was determined though, we WILL get some good shots. by the end of the day they were pooped, like me. i have some videos and lots of pictures as proof that it really did turn out fun.

look close, you can see the distressed look in his eyes along with the clenched teeth. he's thinking, "are we done yet?!!"

my boy, chose this as one of his activities. so fun. i think i would have been scared if i did it. he wasnt at all. i have a great video of him on here. if only i could remember how to convert it...

super excited for the corn maze. it was 1 1/2 acres! he went all my himself. it took about 10 minutes or so. he is so cute!
