one of the best baking tools EVER!

i got this as a birthday present. i received it in the mail a couple of weeks ago and have been dying to use it. you know you have seen it's commercials on tv. it's the perfect brownie pan! it looked very interesting on tv and i was curious to see if it actually worked as good as it says it does. the grocery store had brownie mixes on sale for 99 cents. i grabbed a couple and today i decided to put the pan to the test.

the pan is a little smaller than a 13x9 pan, but it works out better that way. the brownie pieces are taller. the pan and all it's parts are nonstick, but i still sprayed them all before i poured the mix in. just to be sure.

after it was poured in the pan, i inserted the divider and made six plain, six with m&m's and six with marshmallows. i baked it for 30 min. at 350 degrees.

i had to peak throughout the cooking process to see if it actually looked like it's supposed to. when the buzzer rang, i pulled them out and let them cool. (about 10min.).

now came the test...i removed the divider and set the pan on the stand and the sides of the pan fell (like they should). i was left with little individual brownie pieces all nice and warm with crusty tops! they are just asking to be eaten! YUM!

i tried a corner first and it was heaven sent! nice and crunchy, but chewy in the middle. i gave the kids one each and they loved them. of course, i HAD to try different pieces to make sure they all tasted the same. all the edges were wonderful. i did try a center piece. it was not crunchy on any of the sides, but it was so warm and soft and chewy and delicious and gooey....oh, sorry. i lost track of what i was saying.

overall, the pieces all tasted the same as being baked in a normal 13x9. outer edges were crunchy with soft inside pieces. the only difference were the nice, precise cut edges of the brownie pieces. i loved not having to cut them with a knife where all the inside brownie bits get brought up with the knife. the divider is awesome. i havent tried them on rice krispie treats yet, but i bet that would be so helpful there too.

i highly recommend the perfect brownie pan. go get one...you know you are dying to!
