next week, i am taking on another HUGE cake challenge. i will take tons of pictures and please pray that it turns out as good as i hope it will.
i went to look at our family scrapbook,so i could add to it. i discovered i am more than a year behind. sad, i know. i went to target and developed 200 pictures. now i just need the time to put them in the scrapbook.
i hate laundry. i am on load #6 now. ewww.
jj's animal project is due today. he did a great job. he hates to write, so that part was not fun for him. i think he ended up crying at least once each time i made him write. the clay model we made looks pretty cool too. notice i say we. that stinking gila monster model has broken into more pieces than i can remember. i have used so much hot glue on that thing to keep it all together. it was a nice idea to use clay, but not again.
he gives his oral report today. ellie and i are going to watch him.
ellie is clothes obsessed or maybe neurotic is more like it. she puts on an outfit. likes it at first, but if the shirt doesnt lay flat and straight with no wrinkles. forget it. the meltdown has begun. she convinces me she needs another shirt, so i let her pick it out. she picks out a different shirt that does the same thing. she complains it is too long and that you cant see her shorts. which you can, by the way. she marches to the bathroom and spends the next 5 minutes (i kid you not) ranting and raving to herself in the mirror, about how "i hate this shirt" and "this is yucky for me" and "i need to roll it to make it short" all while crying, screaming, and stomping around. full blown teenage meltdown.
jesse and i have a wedding to go to this saturday. she is one of our babysitters, even though she is 22. we love her. she started watching jj when he was a itty bitty baby. she is the most responsible person i know for her age. her wedding venue is AMAZING!!! i will take lots of pictures.
the following saturday (the 12th), me and my mom are going to see "a chorus line" at the pantages theater in hollywood. we are SUPER excited. i cant wait. ONE, singular sensation...
later this month, my hubby and i will be celebrating 9 years married! craziness!
i had made my summer reading list, but continue to add to it. i already finished 3 books off it. i think next post i will list them. i usually only read books that are from the library. it gets expensive buying them. so far it has been working out well. only problem is that sometimes i put a hold on a really popular book and i end up waiting weeks for it. i am still waiting for "the last song" and it has been almost 4 weeks. some of the books i will end up buying just because i dont want to wait.
i am obsessed with the redbox dvds. $1 a movie! cant get much better than that. blockbuster just raised their prices too.
i still need to see sex and the city 2. cant wait for eclipse!
summertime is almost here!!! yay!!!
