yay!!! it is finally spring break!
our family has lots of fun things planned for these next 2 weeks. some of them involve the kids and some are just jesse and i. this week, i have my niece and nephew along with jj and ellie here at the house. i am trying to find things for them to keep busy and out of trouble. i decided to be brave and let them make cookies from scratch and by hand. the plan was to photograph the process, regardless of the mess. they actually did pretty good except for one giant spill on the floor.
the boys were pretty much over the whole thing soon after they started. the girls were the ones who did most of the grunt work. isn't that how it always is? i took a lot of pics and actually got a couple really good ones. i am still learning a lot with my camera and am really excited to try new things.
on wednesday, i am taking the kids out to get their pics done. i need some new portrait pictures of them for their books. i am hoping i found some greats spots and that i can use my creative side to make them awesome! keep your fingers crossed!
