i was looking through the rest of my summer 2011 photo album on iphoto and realized that i didn't have anymore. i guess i didn't take any more photos of what we did the rest of the summer.
we didn't do too much, mostly local trips and other fun things.
the beach, knott's berry farm, roller skating, swimming at friend's houses, watching movies, playdates at the library, and mcdonalds pretty much sums up the rest of the summer for us. the kids had a blast. in fact, jj doesn't want to go back to school at all, while ellie is counting down the days. we have definitely been enjoying sleeping in and staying up late, but school starts next week!!! these kids better get used to getting up at 6:30 from now on.
for the record, i am counting down the days too, quite possibly the hours...
i took some pics and video on my phone, but they are not the greatest quality. if some day i ever figure out how to get them from my phone to here, i will do it.
also, some bad news. our precious dog, charlie has cancer. my hubby found a spot on her that didn't look too good and i took her in and they tested it and it is a mast cell tumor that is malignant. the vet says that it is small and everything should be ok, but she goes in on monday to have surgery to remove it. so please pray for charlie girl!!!
