first stop was san diego. we stayed with our good friends, wes and brittany. we were even able to bring charlie along to play with their dog, zoolander. they were great pals by the end.
we had a ton of fun. jesse got to play golf, the girls got to hang out, the kids went to the beach, the pier, the san diego county fair, and swimming in the mayer's pool. we stayed through the 4th of july and watched some fireworks from the car as we were driving. it was really nice to relax and see old friends and just visit with them.
next stop was bakersfield, where we stayed with logan and rebecca. we always love visiting them because our kids and their kids play the whole entire time. they are like long lost cousins when they see each other. our visit their was nice too because we just kind of vegged out the whole time. the kids played outside in the afternoon when it started to cool off. it was a great visit with great friends.
